Katana Golden Crow Maru Blade Suirai Koshirae 金烏 | TangGu Sword

Shinken (真剣) | Golden Crow Katana: TangGu (湯谷Maru Blade (丸造) + TangGu (湯谷) Suirai Koshirae (翠雷拵)

This traditional-style koshirae combines functional design with traditional aesthetics. The saya is finished in black lacquer with speckled shimmer. A deep violet sageo is tied in a standard pattern. The tsuka is wrapped in green ito over white samegawa (ray skin) with hishigami inserts for a symmetrical grip.
